Traveling +
Where is the wedding? +
The wedding will take place at Casa Rosada, a venue located in Queluzito, in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil.
The closest airport is Belo Horizonte (CNF) — Nathalia's hometown 😊 Don't worry, it's a large city with plenty of flight options.
How do I get there? +
We recommend flying to Belo Horizonte. From there, you have two options:
• Rent a car: the drive to the venue takes about 2 hours.
• Join the bus we'll be renting to take some guests from Belo Horizonte to the venue (more details coming soon).
When should I arrive? +
We recommend arriving before August 12th, so any flight delays or cancellations won't interfere with the wedding.
It will also give you time to explore Belo Horizonte with us before heading to the venue.
How will transportation work? Do I need a car? +
We'll provide a transport option from Belo Horizonte to the venue, so having a car is not mandatory.
That said, if you'd like to rent one—either for the wedding or for traveling afterward—feel free to reach out to us for tips. And don't forget to request an international driver's license if needed.
Do you have any flight recommendations? +
Yes! We recommend either:
• Flying via Portugal with TAP, with a direct flight to Belo Horizonte, or
• Flying with another airline via São Paulo, then taking a connecting flight to Belo Horizonte.
⚠️ Important note about São Paulo:
If you connect through São Paulo, you'll need to collect your luggage after the first flight, go through customs, and then re-check your bags for the domestic flight (your airline may tell you otherwise, but they are mistaken)
What do I need to travel to Brazil? +
Depending on your nationality, you may need:
• A passport
• A visa
• Certain vaccinations (such as yellow fever)
• An international driver's license (if you plan to rent a car)
Please check your governement travel recommendations website to confirm what applies to you.
Wedding & Accommodations +
What is the wedding schedule? +
The celebration will take place over three days:
Friday, August 14th
We'll arrive at the venue in the afternoon, settle everyone into their accommodations, and enjoy a casual dinner together—a relaxed moment to get to know each other.
Saturday, August 15th
The wedding ceremony will take place in the evening at 7:00 PM.
During the day, you'll have time to rest, explore the area, hike nearby trails, visit waterfalls, or simply hang out with friends and family.
We do ask everyone to be at the venue on time for the ceremony.
Sunday, August 16th
We'll share a small brunch in the morning before heading back to Belo Horizonte or continuing onward with travel plans.
Where should I stay in Belo Horizonte? +
We recommend staying near the city center or in the Savassi neighborhood.
These areas are safe, close to tourist attractions, and where most major hotel chains are located.
Where should I stay near the venue (Queluzito)? +
The venue offers on-site accommodations, but unfortunately there isn't enough availability for all guests.
We'll also recommend nearby hotels and will share full details very soon.
What is the dress code? +
Details coming soon 👗🤵
Is there a wedding registry? +
Yes! We'll have a wedding registry on this website (coming soon).
Before & After the Wedding +
Will there be a wedding celebration in France? +
Yes! We'll also be having our civil wedding in France.
We're currently navigating French bureaucracy (wish us luck 😅), so we don't have a confirmed date yet—but it will most likely be around June or July.
What are your travel plans after the wedding? +
After the wedding, we're planning to visit:
• Ouro Preto (a historic city in Minas Gerais)
• Rio de Janeiro
• Angra dos Reis
• São Paulo
Plans are still flexible, so feel free to reach out if you'd like to join us or meet up along the way!
Do you have travel recommendations? +
We'll be visiting Brazil's main highlights (Rio, São Paulo, Ouro Preto), but if you'd like to extend your trip, we're happy to recommend other amazing places to explore too 😊
